Feel no need to mark off the parts of your post as "1", "2", and "3".  We wrote the directions in steps, just to make it clear the things we wanted you to include in your post.  You can do it this way if you want; I just know my own writing feels freer when I don't write in numbers -- so if you feel the same, you definitely don't have to do it this way.
